Matt Reeves has revealed the first full-length trailer for Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ movie at the DC Fandome 2021. The trailer stars Robert Pattinson as a more violent Batman than his predecessors, who is more interested in being the cape crusader than enjoying his billionaire life as Bruce Wayne.

The trailer also reveals the first look at Catwoman/Selina Kyle played by Zoë Kravitz.

The trailer begins with Riddler having tea in a bar while the police arrive to arrest him. "Fear is a tool. And when that light hits the sky... it's not just a call. It's a warning," says Gordon at the beginning of the trailer. "If this continues, it won't be long before you've nothing left," says Alfred, to which Bruce replies, "I don't care what happens to me." "Maybe we're not so different. Who are you under there?" asks Selina Kyle. In the next scene, Batman says, "I'm vengeance."

The film follows Batman in his second year of fighting crime as he uncovers corruption in Gotham City that connects to his own family while facing a serial killer known as The Riddler.

The cast of the film includes Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald "Oz" Cobblepot/Penguin, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton / Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone: A Gotham City crime lord, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson: Gotham's district attorney, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth: Batman's butler and mentor.

Directed and written by Matt Reeves along with Peter Craig, The Batman wrapped up production in March this year. The film already revealed a teaser featuring Robert Pattinson during the DC Fandome last year.

The Batman is currently scheduled to release in theaters on March 4, 2022, worldwide. A spin-off series set in the same universe is also in the works at HBO Max. Warner Bros. is also planning to produce two sequels of this film.
