The 98th Academy Awards, honoring films released in 2025, were held on March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Hosted by Conan O'Brien, the 98th Academy Awards ceremony featured a mix of surprise wins, emotional speeches, and historic moments, with "One Battle After Another" and "Sinners" dominating the night.
 
"One Battle After Another," directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, took home six Oscars, including Best Picture. At the same time, Ryan Coogler's "Sinners" won four, setting a record with 16 nominations earlier in the season.
