In the first few seconds, I couldn’t understand the format the show was following. It was only after the intro song was over that I figured out what this was all about. To put it simply, this concept combines elements of reality television, strategic gaming tactics, and a theatrical presentation, creating an engaging and immersive experience. There is a crime scene shown to us wherein each participant must play the role of the suspect and the detective. What’s in reward? If most of the players get it correct, the victory is theirs; else, the deceiver or the actual culprit takes the money away.  But here’s the thing: the culprit is not someone who has been scripted but an actual participant.

The participants do their bit of investigation as it should be done in order to arrive at a conclusion through which they decide who could be the potential culprit. For example, in the first episode, a murder has taken place in an abandoned building, and the body is left hanging on a wire. The participants get the body down and investigate it thoroughly. They also check across the building in order to find evidence. The question is, who is the real culprit who committed the murder?

In all honesty, I had a lot of fun watching this show. It is unique and different from what we usually watch. We have all watched plenty of crime dramas. But to watch one where it is like a game and a theater play gives you a different kind of fun. Although the entire story is fiction, what’s interesting is how they improvise and handle the crime scene. This adds a lot of fun elements to the show. Even the investigation that is taking place is very detailed. Each participant has great attention to detail, which proves to be very intriguing for us viewers. Some of them should actually become a part of investigations in real life.  The set created is also impressive, as it serves as the crime spot. So obviously, it has to look serious and real. The set designers here deserve credit for such a good set. Right from the hospital to the funeral places, we are shown everything. Additionally, the scripted plots are the main life of this show. They are creative and give us a great chance to explore why the culprit killed the victim.

But there is one drawback. The pacing is very slow. Some of the scenes just keep on dragging on and on. That can create quite a boredom while watching the show.  Yes, I understand that the format differs from what we have seen before, and naturally, it will slow things down a bit. However, it continues to progress, which I feel detracts from the show.

However, by role-playing and a bit of improvisation, the show gives us plenty of entertainment through which we can ignore the shortcomings, which are minor in nature. For those who like crime dramas, this can look great. Have you ever seen a reality show like this? I bet not. And this is exactly why this is a great watch for you. As more episodes are on the way, the series is sure to be intriguing with the variety of cases it has tackled so far and those it will explore in the future. Viewers, get ready for this engaging new format that will make you want to get involved in this fun approach to solving crimes.
