‘The Crow Club’ (2026) Netflix Series Review - A Mysterious Mix of Romance, Chaos and the Supernatural

The Crow Club is going to be an unusual watch for sure, from what I understood from the first episode. The plot revolves around a mysterious nightclub whose members are willing to solve all kinds of strange problems as long as the client is willing to pay. What those jobs are isn’t revealed immediately, and that is what builds your curiosity. Linda is the leader of the group and alongside her are eight other actors who form four different couples. Instead of following one central couple, each of the four couples is given screen space. Talay and Sun are the first couple. Talay works as the club manager, and Sun is a romance novelist. Van, an engineer, and Rakkhun, who can see ghosts, add supernatural elements to the plot. Phatee is a singer, while Ran is a trainee who is hoping to break into the T-pop industry. Lastly, we have Taigmo and Yoyeh, who have an arc that is slightly more confusing than the others.

Now these four couples add different layers of theme. That is why in The Crow Club we get romance, entertainment, ex-lovers, and whatnot. Now I do agree that with nine characters in a show, watching it for the first time can be difficult. It is hard to remember all of them and who is paired with whom. But that is fine. As and when we progress, it becomes clearer. If you expect a definite plot, then The Crow Club will not offer you that, which is why in this review, I won't reveal everything either. It is the kind of narrative that one understands only when one watches it. Otherwise, it is of no use. But yes, remove that with so many characters comes a different kind of chaos that becomes an integral part of the plot. So even though as of now only one episode is out, we must not forget that there will be some chaos that is going to come along.

Episode 1 was dark yet fun. There are a lot of good things in it. For example, the plot has a good share of mystery. Not revealing it in the upcoming episodes is surely going to be fun. We will also get to see the different kinds of relationship stages that each of these couples is in. That will help us understand the dynamics of the narrative as well. I am also sure that the various themes included will keep up the fun that we expect from The Crow Club.

The pacing is also fine. Not once did I feel the need to fast-forward anything. Things move at a pace that is enough for us to understand, while not feeling bored at the same time. In fact, truth be told, I am quite excited to see how the entire show will turn out in the future. The first episode did, for sure, manage to leave an impact even when the credits started to roll.
