Brace yourselves, viewers, because this episode unleashes some of the most gruesome truths and scenes that you may have watched so far in this show. The episode begins with Wendy struggling to establish communication with her Xenomorph "partner." She is upset that just like the Lost Boys, even the aliens are being experimented on. On the other hand, Arthur Sylvia is facing a moral issue: Atom Eins has asked Sylvia to rest Nibs (who thought she was pregnant) memories, which he flatly refuses. He wishes to have the whole personality of Nibs reset and become calmer.  Of course, refusing this has consequences, which leads him to lose his position in the facility.

Meanwhile, Boy Kavelier and Yutani have started engaging in negotiations regarding the true ownership of specimens and, most importantly, who is actually responsible for the disasters. It is indeed very interesting to watch Yutani’s point of view as to why she desired the aliens and what ultimately motivated her to seek them. Coming back to Nibs, when Wendy meets her, Nibs is confused by all the questions she is asked, as her memory has been reset. We can see that Nibs has now become anxious as she doesn’t remember anything at all. Lastly, Arthur has it worst towards the end, which gives us a catastrophic scene with the facehugger wrapping itself around Arthur’s head. Is this an endgame for Arthur? Or will he get rescued?

All in all, this episode continues what was left in the previous episode, at the same time telling us some new consequences. Wendy and Arthur have started realizing the whole game of Boy and what is lying ahead. What was sad to watch was Nibs losing her memory. Now she doesn’t remember anything. Which makes me wonder what’s in store for her character in the future? Where will this lead her? Will she ever get her memory back, or was this an irreversible thing? We will have to wait and see. Also, the rising empathy that Wendy has for the aliens, will this lead to a rebellion on her part against Boy? So many rising emotions are shown in this episode that it forces you to think about what the coming episodes are going to carry. There is a sense of emergency in this episode.

Some scenes deserved more screen time than the others. For example, at one point, it felt as if the negotiations between Yutani and Boy were stretched. Yes, it is important, but other scenes, like Nibs losing her memory, could have told us more. Perhaps this plot is stored for the next episode. Meanwhile, what happened to Arthur was not explored fully, but was shown to us to give us a preview of his character’s future. But one thing is for sure: with every passing episode, the show is becoming interesting to watch. Each character has its own nuances, which are unfolding. Wendy and Arthur, for me, were the most explored characters in this episode. Nibs, I believe, will be explored in the coming episodes, and I am really curious about it because at one point she really thought that she was pregnant. We are yet to discover why she thought that and how that was possible, given that she is now a hybrid like Wendy. So right now, all we can do is wait for the next episode and see what the makers are giving us.

Final Score- [7/10]
