I have realized that as and when the show proceeds, the character of Wendy is becoming more and more intriguing. She, too, is having a realization that her abilities do, in fact, make her the most powerful individual on the island. Hermit, too, is clearly seeing Wendy’s power to know that she is more than what she appears to be. In this episode, though, Hermit is proven right about his thinking regarding the hybrids.

For Wendy, we can see how, on one hand, she sympathizes with certain creatures but leaves no stone unturned to become violent when someone acts as a threat to her. This certainly makes her dangerous, as her violent side is capable of causing much destruction. Meanwhile, we also see a change in the character of Arthur. If you remember, he was attacked by a face hugger who got him infected. And well, in this episode too, things don’t seem to go right for him either. Sadly, we see a gross scene where a baby Xenomorph attacks and splits open its chest. This scene is not only tragic but also sad. He also spends time with hybrid children who, unfortunately, witness the gruesome attack. I still don’t know why such a shape was given to his character. I liked him, but the way he was killed broke my heart. This can also worry some of the viewers because in this show, it is lately becoming very unclear as to who else can be killed. No one is safe from these species, and we don’t know what will happen moving forward. Even Wendy is grappling with the electrocution of Nibs, which ultimately leads to her death. So now secrets are coming out in the open, which can possibly lead to a big battle outside. It would be interesting to see what the future holds for Boy Kavalier. In each passing episode, we see Xenomorphs gaining power and momentum. They are slowly and steadily showing us and the characters their deadly sight, which serves as a stark reminder to be careful because, at the end of the day, they are nothing but aliens.

Overall, this episode was heartbreaking but very important to watch. It gives us a glimpse of what could lead to the ending and what we can expect. Wendy, as mentioned before, is becoming powerful with each passing episode, which sets the ground for the fact that she could be the endgame for the aliens. While not much for Boy Kavalier was shown in this episode, we must not forget that he is capable of doing harmful things and that his evil mind won’t be sitting idle. This means that in the next episode, we can see more of an arc to his character. We are also shown the creation of “eyeball sheep,” which, for obvious reasons, is something to watch out for. It would be interesting to see what the finale holds.

Final Score- [7/10]
