Firat has lost the love of his life, Melisa, who was also the mother of their child, Can. Firat's struggle with alcoholism has complicated his ability to cope with this loss and has strained his relationship with Can. Despite this, Firat and Can share moments of genuine connection, though these moments are often overshadowed by Firat's drinking.

Can, desperate to mend the broken pieces of his family, becomes fixated on the idea of building a time travel machine. His goal is to return to the past and express to his mother just how much he loves her. For Can, this dream represents hope and a chance to correct the course of their lives. For the adults observing, it's a poignant reminder of the harsh reality: time cannot be reversed, and the past cannot be changed. This reality evokes deep sympathy for both Can and Firat, who are each grappling with a profound sense of loss and longing.

The void left by Melisa's absence is one that neither Firat nor Can can easily fill. Firat's absence during much of Can's early life further complicates their relationship. Rebuilding their bond is a challenging journey fraught with emotional hurdles. They are both learning to navigate their lives amidst this turmoil, striving to find common ground as father and son.

The strain in their relationship stems not only from Firat's alcoholism but also from his prolonged absence in Can’s life. As a result, the process of recognizing and accepting each other as a family is an ongoing task. They must work through layers of pain and resentment, striving to build a foundation of trust and understanding. Through their struggles, Firat and Can are slowly learning to support each other, despite the challenges that threaten to pull them apart.

Life offers Firat a new chance at redemption and healing with the arrival of Sezen, a woman who has endured a similar kind of loss. Sezen's entry into Firat's life becomes a pivotal moment, presenting him with the opportunity to rebuild not only his own life but also his fractured relationship with his son, Can. One of the significant hurdles Sezen faces is gaining the trust and confidence of Can. For Can, the arrival of a new person in his father’s life is both confusing and threatening. Kaan Urgancloglu as Firat aces his role.  Mert Ege Ak as Little Can is fantastic in role showcasing the right amount of emotions in every scene.

"In Good Hands 2" is a compelling and poignant tale that delves into the art of repairing relationships and emphasizes the crucial role of nurturing them. It is more than just a film; it is an emotional journey that resonates deeply with its viewers. It leaves a lasting impression, reminding us all of the preciousness of our relationships and the care they deserve. The story's gentle yet impactful message encourages us to cherish and nurture the bonds we share, recognizing that they are fundamental to a fulfilling and meaningful life.
