A level 30 rogue can solo the rare bosses in Scarlet Monastery Graveyard, Razorfen Crawl, and Norgan on the WoW Forever beta. Most are easy to face tank. Iron Spine is the hardest, and the key skills are kicking casts, using Riposte to disarm, and saving crowd control.
A level 30 rogue can solo five rare bosses across Scarlet Monastery Graveyard, Razorfen Crawl, and Norgan. Each boss offers one or two target items. Most fights are won by face tanking with good positioning and well-timed cooldowns.
This guide covers each boss’s key loot, difficulty, trash-clearing needs, and the safest way to kill it. It also covers gold-making options along the way. Boss names and spellings follow the original video transcript.
The setup uses a standard Combat build with extra beta talent points, going down into Hack and Slash and placing three points in Master of Deception for safer stealth through instances. A target macro helps identify rare spawns quickly. This section covers talent choices and the macro used for efficient rare checks.
The guide uses a standard Combat build with extra talent points taken from the beta’s talent access. The build goes down into Hack and Slash, with three points in Master of Deception for safer stealthing through instances. A target macro helps find rare spawns.
Talent Choices
The build is a standard Combat build, taken down into Hack and Slash. Three points go into Master of Deception, which makes stealthing through instances easier without getting caught. The beta’s access to extra talent points lets the tree be built out further.
Rare Spawn Macro
A target macro, spammed after walking outside, shows quickly whether the current instance has any of the rare spawns. The creator lists the macro in the video description. This saves time on instances that have no rare.
Asher the Sleepless is one of the two easier rares in Scarlet Monastery Graveyard. The main prize is the Ghost Shard Talisman. The main danger is his instant fear, so clear nearby trash and fight away from other mobs.
Loot
The Ghost Shard Talisman has 14 attack power, 12 attack power against undead, and 9 stamina. He also drops a decent wand and cloth legs. The talisman is the item most players come for.
Fight Strategy
You can face tank him, kick some casts, and gouge others. Repost also works on some casts. The main killer is the instant fear, so clear as much trash as you can behind his spawn point.
He can spawn at the other mausoleum on the far side or at the back of the graveyard. When he fears, make sure you are far from other mobs.
Low-Health Behavior
He runs away when he is about to die and can pull other mobs. Save combo points, and Kidney Shot him as he flees. This boss suits lower-level or less confident rogues, and a feral druid can also stealth in and loot it.
The Fallen Champion is the other easy boss in Scarlet Monastery Graveyard. He drops gloves with strength and agility, probably the best gloves at level 30. He does not fear, so you can face tank him inside the mausoleum without clearing much trash.
Loot
The gloves have strength and agility. They are described as probably the best gloves you can get in the game at level 30. They are the main reason to farm him.
Fight Strategy
Open with Distract, then face tank him inside the mausoleum. He carries a two-handed weapon, so Riposte and disarming are valuable. Because he is undead, you can use Garrote on him, the same as on Asher.
The creator had Recovery enchanted on both weapons, which restores health when the rogue dodges or parries. You can save Evasion, use a health potion, and rely on Riposte procs.
Iron Spine is by far the hardest of the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard rares. He drops Iron Spine’s Eye, a ring with 4 strength and 9 agility. Bring crippling poison, kick or block his Poison Cloud, and clear trash so you have room to kite.
Loot and Poisons
Iron Spine’s Eye is the ring most players want. It has 4 strength and 9 agility, which is very good for this level. Put crippling poison on both weapons so a kited Iron Spine is slowed.
You could also put mind-numbing poison on the off-hand to combine it with crippling. The delayed cast time then makes it easier to kick his cast.
Abilities
He has two abilities to watch. Curse of Weakness is an instant cast and cannot realistically be avoided. Poison Cloud is a damage-over-time effect that must be stopped.
Save Gouge, Kidney Shot, or Kick for his Poison Cloud cast. In the video’s failed kill, he got the cast off, and the creator could not finish the fight.
Kiting and Recovery
Clear as much trash as you can so you have room. If he is in the mausoleum, kite him around it. You can also kite him back and forth over the wall by killing the trash both below and above it.
Use Riposte and hope it lands so you can disarm him. Gouge also lets you save energy: gouge him, step away, and regain energy without taking damage.
You can use first aid with your best bandage, too. Gouge or Kidney Shot him, move away, and bandage up as high as you can.
Viscous Fallout in Norgan is easy to face tank. The challenge is finding space and isolating him without pulling other mobs. He drops the Toxic Revenger, a slow, high-damage dagger with an on-hit effect. The section covers loot, route, and the safest pull.
Loot
The Toxic Revenger is a slow, high-damage dagger with an on-hit effect. It is a good main-hand dagger for a backstab build or for a rogue using Ambush. The creator got it on the first kill.
Reaching the Boss
After entering the instance, jump off and try to land on the cog. Mark the boss with a skull, because it patrols the whole room and you need to know where it is while killing mobs.
Fight Strategy
Find an area around the edge of the room with water elementals and kill enough of them to make space. The creator killed two beside a door. Water elementals are easy at level 30.
The hardest part is isolating the boss and pulling him into your cleared area. He has no abilities worth noting, so there is nothing to dodge or kick. Use cooldowns and potions as needed and face tank him. He is an elemental, so you cannot poison him.
The first boss in Razer Fen Crawl is easy to solo and can drop the dagger, Thorn Spike. You do not need to kill trash around him. Burst down his summoned boar spirit adds and kick his Chain Heal. The route and fight are simpler than Iron Spine.
Loot
Thorn Spike is a good level-appropriate dagger with serious damage per second. It is slow and has a chance on hit to hurl spikes at the target. The creator also received decent attack power leather gloves, which are okay.
The gloves from Scarlet Monastery are much better at this level, so the dagger is the main goal.
Route and Abilities
Stealth around to the right, following the map, then double back to the left to reach the boss. The creator used the dungeon journal for the in-instance map. No trash needed clearing.
He summons a boar spirit that brings a level 20 elite add. He can also cast Chain Heal, which you should kick, and Battle Shout. He is much simpler than Iron Spine.
Fight Strategy
He summons the boar spirit several times. Each time, target the spirit and burst it down, saving Blade Flurry and cooldowns for that moment. This keeps you from tanking two enemies at once.
Riposte is useful again, and disarming his dagger is valuable. Double instant poison gives maximum damage. After he dies, a boar may remain. It is level 20, so the creator gouged it, used first aid, and finished it.
Extra gold can come from selling rare drops, selling instance IDs that contain rare spawns, checking graveyard chests, and selling recipes or materials. Each run can produce items, recipes, and chests even without the target drop. The methods below focus on drops, IDs, and chests.
Selling Drops and IDs
There are two main routes. You can sell the item itself. Alternatively, you can join the dungeon, look for the rare spawn, and sell the instance ID to someone else once you have it. Some players solo the boss and let another player loot the item.
Chests and Recipes
If an instance has no rare spawn, check the chests on either side of the open graveyard area. The trash around them is easy to solo. The chests can give extra greens, rare patterns and other materials.
One Iron Spine kill dropped a blue recipe that the creator said was selling for about 10 gold on the auction house.
When the rewards from solo monster grinding and treasure chests are insufficient to cover the cost of consumables, some players turn to MMOEXP to explore various currency options. The WoW Forever Gold product page lists current offers and platform policies; please review them carefully before making a decision.
Beta-style farming guides show why in-game currency matters to players. Rare drops, recipes, and instance IDs all have a gold value. Players who want to compare currency and trading options can view listing information on the MMOEXP game marketplace; specific services, categories, and rules should be checked on the official site, and players should follow the game’s terms of service.

The FAQ covers the easiest solo targets, how to survive Iron Spine’s Poison Cloud, and the main gold-making routes from these runs. Answers use the same level 30 beta context as the guide above and keep platform checks separate from in-game tactics.
Which boss is easiest to solo as a level 30 rogue?
Asher the Sleepless and the Fallen Champion are the two easiest by far. Both are in Scarlet Monastery Graveyard. Viscous Fallout in Norgan and the first Razer Fen Crawl boss are also easy, but Iron Spine is the hardest of the group.
How do you survive Iron Spine’s Poison Cloud?
Save Kick, Gouge, or Kidney Shot for his Poison Cloud cast and interrupt it. Mind-numbing poison on the off-hand can give you another chance to kick. Crippling poison helps you kite him, and clearing trash gives you room to do it.
